TCRFM Radio Society
The Radio Society and student radio station was formed in 2004 as ITTFM. But it has since been rebranded as TCRFM - Tallaght Campus Radio FM.
The society broadcasts twice a year during the academic year for one week in September and one week in February.

During these times, the society puts a daily schedule of live radio shows together via Twitch through live streaming.
​
For the summer committee 2017/18, I was elected as Secretary and for the semester 2018/19 I was delighted to be elected as Chairperson of the Radio Society.
We were shortlisted in 3 categories at the Board of Irish College Societies (BICS) Awards 2019. For Best Mental Health Promoting Event, Best Society and Best Event. We finished in 2nd place for the Best Society from a Small College category.
Being part of this society is one of my highlights at the Technological University Dublin, Tallaght Campus. I've learned so many skills that I will carry with me.

TCRFM Radio Week 2019
The event took place over 5 days, from Monday 4th-Friday 8th February 2019.

Our broadcast took place from 11AM to 6PM every day. This event saw contributions from numerous students, staff members, societies and also society alumni members.
​
By being as inclusive as possible the Radio Society ensures that all of our listeners have someone they can relate to at TCRFM.
​
It was also the first time where so many non-media students got involved during Radio Week.
​
This week proved to be a massive success and I'm beyond proud of each individual who got involved in anyway.
